About the Bachelor of Science in Food Technology Program
The Bachelor of Science in Food Technology program focuses on the science and technology behind food production, preservation, and safety. Students learn about food chemistry, microbiology, processing techniques, packaging, and quality control. Through theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in laboratories and food processing facilities, students gain skills to develop, test, and improve food products. The curriculum also covers regulations, food laws, and ethical considerations in the food industry. Graduates are prepared for careers in food manufacturing, quality assurance, research and development, regulatory affairs, and food safety management.
