A 5-Year Path from the Classroom to the Clinic
Sigma University’s BPT programme runs for five years, with the final year entirely set aside for a compulsory rotational internship, starting with the 2026-27 batch.
That structure matters: students spend a full year working across different clinical postings before they graduate instead of squeezing internship into a few months at the end.
The physiotherapy course itself follows the competency-based curriculum recommended by the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP), so what’s taught in the classroom ties directly back to what NCAHP expects a working physiotherapist to know.
